My Name Is NOT Cancer

Aegrotat Bachelor of Science (Human Biosciences)

Megan enrolled as an undergraduate at Plymouth University to study a Bachelor of science course in Human Biosciences, in 2008.

Remarkably, despite a diagnosis of cancer and six months of chemotherapy, she continued her studies and completed her first year.

Megan had to suspend University for a year to undertake further treatment as her cancer was particularly aggressive and needed further treatment.

Sadly, Megan died in 2010 before she was able to complete her studies.

The lecturers and tutors at Plymouth University believe that Megan`s academic ability, coupled with her obvious courage, determination and enthusiasm would have been rewarded by her eventual graduation from the University and awarded her a posthumous degree.
